University High’s 1st grads say it was worth it (Detroit Free Press)
Mayowa Ogundipe was intrigued by University High School. He had heard that it would have a focus on engineering and a college-preparatory curriculum with classes geared toward careers in the automotive industry when it opened in 2005. And he said he was excited about the opportunity to spend a portion of his senior year learning alongside professionals in a cooperative program.
